Third Party Software - not approved by Apple

At this time (March, 2008), Apple does not support third party software on the iPhone. However, you can get third party software by "unlocking" your iPhone and downloading software from special iPhone software websites. Apple does not approve of this process. If you want to go ahead without Apple's blessing, here are some web resources:

Unlocking Software ZiPhone has made the unlocking process much easier and more automated. Click on 'Download ZiPhone' and then click your OS symbol to get the software.
Unlocking Instructions Detailed instructions for any issues you might run into while unlocking your iPhone.
Third Party Software Lists most of the software available for the iPhone. There are other software lists but this is the most popular one we know (Feb, 2008).

Software Development
