1. Unlock your iPhone (if not already done) |

1. Open your Web browser and go to http://www.ziphone.org

2. Click "Click here to Download ziPhone (Main)"

3. Click the Windows icon for the Windows version or the Mac icon for the Mac version.

|
1. Install ziPhone onto your PC / Mac.
|

| Unlock |
|
1. If you are switching your iPhone from the default cell phone provider, then change the SIM card before you start.
|
|
|
2. Plug your iPhone into your PC / Mac.
|
|
|
3. Run ziPhone on your PC / Mac.
|
|
|
4. Click the "Unlock, Jailbreak & Activate" button.
|
|
|
5. Wait until ZiPhone finishes (about 4.5 minutes)
|
|
|
6. Your iPhone will chime when its ready and ziPhone will report "Completed Successfully"
|
|
|
2. Setup iPhone Networks (if not already done)
|
|
|
|
| 3. Install aPhoneTracker |
|
Start Installer program
|
|
1. Tap your finger on the blue icon labelled Installer.
|
|
|
2. Wait for refreshing to finish.
|
|
|
3. Click "Donate Now" or "Donate Later" as you feel inclined.You'll get the Installer's Featured screen.
|
|
| Enter aPhoneTracker Source |
|
1. Tap the Sources icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to get the Sources screen.
|
|
|
2. Tap the Edit button on the top right and you'll see an Add button appear in the top left. Tap the Add button for the Add Source pop-up window.
|
|
|
3. Type http://map.aphonetracker.com/dnld
|
|
|
4. Tap Ok. Wait for "Refreshing Sources" to finish. On the Sources page, scroll to the bottom and you'll see the aPhoneTracker source.
|
|
|
5. Tap the Done button on the top right to exit Edit mode.
|
|
| Install aPhoneTracker |
|
1. Tap the Install button on the bottom row for the Install Categories.
|
|
|
2. Scroll down to the Network category and tap on that row to see the Network Packages.
|
|
|
3. Tap on the aPhoneTracker package for the Install Package screen.
|
|
|
4. Tap the Install button and then Tap the Install button that pops up (you can safely ignore the warning).
|
|
|
5. Wait for the Install to finish and return you to the Categories screen.
|
|
|
6. Push the iPhone Home button to return to the Home screen with a new aPhoneTracker icon. You may have to "slide to unlock" first.
|
|
|
| 4. Register yourself with aPhoneTracker |
|
| Start aPhoneTracker |
|
1. Tap the aPhoneTracker icon. You'll get a prompt. Read it and tap OK. Then you'll see the Registration page.
|
|
|
2. To start entering your Email address, tap at the end of the Email field. This brings up a keyboard.
|
|
|
2. Tap the Delete key (the x inside a back arrow) repeatedly to delete the existing address.
|
|
|
3. Type your email address using the keyboard.
|
|
|
4. Repeat for each field: tap at the end of the field, delete the existing data and enter your data.
|
|
|
5. The Password must be at least 6 characters long. REMEMBER your password - you'll need it!
|
|
|
6. Tap the Done button to hide the keyboard. Then scroll up to see all the data you've entered.
|
|
|
7. Tap the Register button. If there are no errors, you'll get a confirmation message and see the main aPhoneTracker screen.

|
| Start Tracking |
|
1. Tap the Report Now button.
|
|
|
2. Wait a 5 - 30 seconds and you'll see the Status has been updated.
If it is successful, you'll see a "Position Reported" message like the Image here:
|
|
|
3. If aPhoneTracker can't locate you, you'll see a "Can't Find Position" message.
You might have to try different locations to find where the positioning works.
In general, the positioning works best in large, North American cities where there
are lots of wireless routers or cell towers.
|
|
4. In the Scheduled Reporting section, tap the ON button. This will automically
report your current position every 10 minutes. Be aware that this uses up 20% - 30%
of your battery each day. You should recharge your battery at least once
a day if you leave this Scheduled Reporting on.

|
| 5. View your phone location |
|
| Login |
|
1. On your PC / Mac, start your browser and enter the www.aphonetracker.com address.
|
|
|
2. Click the Login button in the top right to get the Login page.
|
|
|
3. Enter your email address and password - the same ones you used to register yourself with aPhoneTracker - and click Login.

| Controls / Zoom |
|
1. View your position.
|
|
|
2. Use the arrow buttons to move left, right, up and down.
|
|
|
3. Click the - button to zoom out from the map. Click the + button to zoom into the map.
|
|
|
4. Click the Map, Satellite or Hybrid buttons on the top left to see other map views.
|
|
| Automatic Map Movement |
|
1. The map will move automatically when you report a new position from your phone.
|
|
|
2. Move your phone a few blocks away and tap the aPhoneTracker "Report Now" button on the iPhone.
|
|
|
3. You should see your position updated on the map and the map will re-center itself on your new location.
|
|
|
4. Click the Logout link in the top left when you're finished viewing the map.
|
|
|
5. You can also leave it running on your PC / Mac. It will update itself whenever a new position is reported.

| Final Steps |
|
1. On your iPhone, tap aPhoneTracker's "Report Now" button to report your position.
|
|
|
2. Go to http://map.aphonetracker.com to see your last reported position.
